At BOSS Impact Academy, we believe education builds opportunity and legacy. Our scholarships open doors for students to dream bigger, achieve more, and carry forward the values of leadership and service that define our community.
We are proud to support youth who are ready to take the next step in their journey, whether through college, trade school, or other postsecondary paths. Each scholarship represents not only financial assistance but also a celebration of the lives, families, and stories that make it all possible.
SCHOLARSHIP OVERVIEW
BOSS Impact Academy’s Scholarship Fund celebrates excellence, leadership, and service by helping students pursue higher education and achieve lifelong success. Through community support and partnership, we are proud to invest in the next generation of leaders, one scholar at a time.
Scholarships are open to graduating high school seniors from Camden City and surrounding areas. Each scholarship has its own eligibility criteria and application timeline. Applications typically open in March of each year, but students should carefully review the details for each individual scholarship before applying.
Scholarship recipients are required to attend BOSS Impact Academy’s End-of-Year Ceremony held each June, where awards are formally presented. Recipients will also join our Alumni Circle Program, which provides continued mentorship, networking, and support throughout their postsecondary journey.
Alumni are invited to participate in special events, community service projects, and seasonal gatherings that strengthen their connection to the BOSS family.
Select alumni may also be invited to join our Cultural Exploration Travel Program to engage in global learning experiences.
Oscar R. Spencer Memorial Scholarship
The Oscar R. Spencer Memorial Scholarship honors a proud Delaware State College (now Delaware State University) graduate, devoted family man, and lifelong member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated. Mr. Spencer dedicated his life to faith, education, and service to his community. This scholarship continues his legacy by supporting Camden students who demonstrate leadership, perseverance, and a commitment to creating positive change.
His belief in the power of education lives on through his family, as two of his children also attended and graduated from Delaware State University, carrying forward his legacy of excellence and community pride. This scholarship was established to celebrate Mr. Spencer’s enduring commitment to empowering young people and strengthening the Camden community. Each year, the award is presented to graduating seniors from Camden who reflect his values of leadership, perseverance, scholarship, and service. Recipients are students who not only strive for academic excellence but also demonstrate a sincere dedication to giving back to others and creating positive change in their communities. Through this scholarship, his family and BOSS Impact Academy proudly continue his legacy by helping future generations build their own paths of success, leadership, and purpose.
BOSS Impact Academy Scholarship
The BOSS Impact Academy Scholarship supports graduating high school seniors who are active participants in one or more BOSS Impact Academy programs. This award recognizes students who demonstrate leadership, commitment, and growth through mentorship, academic achievement, and community involvement.
The scholarship reflects our mission to empower youth and families to thrive in every area of life, helping students continue their education and build pathways to lifelong success.
