The Youth Enrichment Institute provides year round programming that fosters academic success, personal growth, and creative exploration. Designed to offer flexible opportunities beyond traditional afterschool and summer sessions, participants engage in STEM and STEAM activities, the arts, and academic support throughout the year.

The Institute focuses on closing opportunity gaps through structured homework help, hands on enrichment projects, and leadership development experiences. ​​​​​

PROGRAM DETAILS

The Youth Enrichment Institute provides year round programming that fosters academic success, personal growth, and creative exploration. Designed to offer flexible opportunities beyond traditional afterschool and summer sessions, participants engage in STEM and STEAM activities, the arts, and academic support throughout the year.

The Institute focuses on closing opportunity gaps through structured homework help, hands on enrichment projects, and leadership development experiences. Sessions are designed to strengthen academic confidence, spark curiosity, and build skills that prepare youth for lifelong success.

Program Details:

  • Ages Served: Youth ages 8 to 18

  • Program Duration: Year round programming offered September through August

  • Session Schedule: Structured afterschool and summer sessions, along with periodic workshops, pop up events, and enrichment intensives

  • Focus Areas: Academic success, STEM and STEAM, personal development, and creative expression

  • Commitment: Regular attendance and participation encouraged for maximum growth

  • Location: Camden and surrounding areas

How to Enroll:
Enrollment is open to all students in the community and is subject to available seats. Select programs and activities may include a small fee to support materials, staffing, or extended learning opportunities.

Jennifer’s Gems Tutoring Service, led by Jada Spencer, provides personalized academic support for students in grades K–5. This program focuses on building strong foundations in math and reading while helping children grow in confidence, independence, and a love for learning.

Through patient instruction and engaging lessons, Jennifer’s Gems creates a supportive learning environment where every child can shine academically and reach their full potential.

Program Details:

  • Grades Supported: Kindergarten through 5th grade

  • Subjects Offered: Math and Reading

  • Session Format: One on one and small group instruction

  • Scheduling: Flexible weekday and weekend sessions available

  • Location: Camden and surrounding areas

  • Fees: Some sessions may include a small fee to support materials and staffing
