The Cultural Exploration Travel Program gives youth the opportunity to learn beyond the classroom and experience new cultures firsthand. Through trip preparation, cultural education, and immersive travel, participants build confidence, independence, and a deeper understanding of the world and their place in it.

This program helps youth broaden their global perspective while developing leadership, teamwork, and social awareness. Each experience encourages participants to step outside their comfort zones and return home with new knowledge, friendships, and purpose.

At B.O.S.S. Mentoring we firmly believes that to enact change, one must first gain perspective.

That's why we created our Cultural Exploration Travel Program (CETP), which provides mentees with the opportunity to explore the world and discover their place in it. Through local, national, and international opportunities, our program encourages a deep interest in global exploration. By exploring topics that are significant to them, their communities, and the world at large, our mentees develop a sense of curiosity and responsibility for the greater global community.

Our mentees get the chance to break out of their cozy shells and embark on a journey of self-discovery, where they can dive into the heart of modern democracies and all their complexities. With every step of their adventure, they face both the thrill and obstacles of international travel and cross-cultural communication. We urge them to take bold moves, conquer their fears of the unknown, and immerse themselves in diverse cultures.

When we hop on a plane and jet off to foreign lands, we're not just racking up those passport stamps. We're also building bridges of connection that stretch far beyond our own backyard.

Whether it's making new friends, learning about diverse cultures, or sharpening their problem-solving and communication chops, international travel is an epic way to prep for high school or college and the adventures beyond. It's a chance to get their critical thinking juices flowing and become more adaptable and humble. Additionally, they will have a comprehensive understanding of both domestic and global issues. Best of all, it shows them that there's no limit to their potential, and that the whole world is theirs for the taking.

THAILAND 2024

In April 2024, our mentees traveled across the globe to Thailand for an experience filled with culture, community, and discovery. From exploring the vibrant city of Bangkok to visiting historic temples and engaging with local youth, participants gained a deeper appreciation for Thailand’s beauty and traditions.

This trip encouraged students to embrace global learning, step outside their comfort zones, and develop a sense of independence and gratitude. It was an unforgettable experience that blended education, service, and adventure while strengthening leadership and cultural awareness.

ECUADOR 2023

From May 18th to May 24th, our mentees explored the heart of South America through an unforgettable journey to Ecuador. The trip offered a powerful blend of adventure, learning, and cultural exchange, from the bustling streets of Quito to the serene rainforests of Tena and the natural hot springs of Papallacta.Participants experienced Ecuador’s rich history, breathtaking landscapes, and diverse traditions while building confidence, independence, and global awareness. It was more than a trip, it was a life-changing opportunity to see the world through a new lens.
